Background Information:

Subsequent to the adoption of the General Purpose School Fund Budget for the 2010 – 2011 fiscal year, the Kohler Company contributed $1,500 to the Adult Education program for the purchase of additional instructional supplies and materials to supplement services to the adult population of Obion County. Since the instructional supplies and materials will be purchased through the General Purpose School Fund, an amendment is necessary to include the contribution. A resolution is attached for the Board’s consideration.

Staff Recommendation:

I recommend approval of the amendment to the 2010 – 2011 fiscal year budget for the General Purpose School Fund.
